i am trying to put together the puzzle pieces of what happened here using nothing but secondhand information but it sounds like

  • one half of their queerbait couple was not in the movie at all
  • the other half got set on fire
  • AFTER HE WAS ALREADY DEAD, a DIFFERENT character was like
  • “well now that he’s dead i guess i can tell you all, here, at his funeral, that he spent years pining after our other friend and expressing this by driving his shitty old car. incidentally our friend is not here at the funeral because he’s still sad about a girl breaking up with him.”

do i have this approximately correct
