i absolutely hate asking for handouts, but i am in a very unhealthy, urgent predicament. 

i am a 19 year old non-binary trans person, my father threw me onto the streets two days ago without providing me with the life skills needed to care and fend for myself. there is a history of life-long verbal, emotional, mental, and physical abuse linked to him. the only thing i grabbed was my birds, two pairs of underwear, my laptop, and chargers in haste to get out before he returned home. i relapsed severely after being two and a half years clean of self harm. i called the police when i needed help, and the officer they sent only scolded me harshly and left when i had a panic attack. 

while i have shelter, it is in a toxic, abusive household filled with addicts. my father will soon be cutting off my phone and removing me from his insurance because i am a “burden on him, and always have been”. i have three medications that i am on, but have no way to get them refilled without money. i am so very desperate. my birds are my emotional support animals and i cannot do without them, they are extremely important to me. 

i’m really not asking for a lot, just sparing a few dollars would make me so very happy - just anything to buy my birds and i food, bandages, cheap clothes. once i am settled again and emotionally stable, i will do anything that i can to repay you. if you cannot provide any money, i understand COMPLETELY and only ask that you please reblog this to help spread the word?
